Face Masks Raised Over $3000
Our locally-made, limited-edition organic cotton face masks have raised over $3000 for nonprofit organizations.
We started making face masks in March 2020 due to the worldwide PPE shortage. Despite waves of anti-mask pushbacks, we kept sewing and have fundraised for several nonprofit organizations, including The Greater Vancouver Food Bank, Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, Ancient Forest Alliance, Doctors Without Borders, and Seniors Services Society.
In our 40 years in business, this has been our most successful fundraising initiative. We feel proud for helping people feel safe while supporting important social and environmental causes.
We’re so grateful for our customers’ ongoing support. We couldn’t have done it alone. We are sharing this story not to brag but because, during a stressful and uncertain time, a good story is much needed to warm hearts and inspire hope - good things can happen in dark unexpected places if you are willing to change.
