Balancing Menopause with Ayurveda Workshop a Success
October 18, 2009 (Vancouver, BC) - A group of twenty women gathered over the weekend at the Chakra Lounge, a yoga and wellness studio at Dream Designs' West Vancouver store, to learn about easing menopause symptoms with 5000-year-old holistic medicine from India. The workshop included a presentation by Mandeep Singh, MD in Ayurveda, a demonstration of yoga designed specifically for menopausal women by certified Kundalini yoga teacher Hanne Vieira, and a brief discussion about transcendental meditation by Sheila Elliott from the Vancouver Maharishi Invincibility Centre.
